Integration and RTF

CsNote stores your work in standard RTF (Rich Text Format) files. This allows easy collaboration, backup, and versioning of your documents alongside code and other project files in version control software (VCS), without additional software.

Cobasoft Note is using the RTF format because it's the only format 100% supported by Nuance Dragon® Naturally Speaking, without any plug-ins or additional tools. Plug-ins would lead to version dependencies and make startup slower and installation more complicated.

  • CsNote is NO word processor.
    It is NOT meant for formatting books, brochures or any form of printed documentation. In fact, it DOESN'T EVEN HAVE a print function.
  • CsNote is NO Project or Task Management software.
    It does NOT handle project planning, scheduling, task assignment, timelines, budgeting, or progress tracking. It LACKS tools to organize or monitor project workflows.
  • CsNote is NOT a dedicated issue-tracking software.
    Intentionally, it does not use the issue-related and DB-based structure of tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
